Video Editing Software: Final Cut X During the 2014 season at the Muny I was solely responsible for the Opening Night videos. These videos are a short compilation of the amazing scenes that take place during the show. I had a deadline of the next day by 12 p.m. to have these posted on our YouTube channel. I worked together with the Muny's Executive Producer/Artistic Director and others to make sure we could truly showcased the show in these videos.
Camera: Sony EX1 / Sony FS100 Video Editing Software: Final Cut X During my senior year of college I was assigned an outside client to work with and create a video from beginning to end. I was able to work with the Bach Society and created two videos for them. I worked together with one of their staff to create a concept, book shooting locations and time, and edit the product. We ended up creating videos each with a similar style but with different ideas. The first was a look at the thoughts and passion of the young artists that were coming into the Bach Society and what the Bach Society had provided these up and coming artists. The second video took the same concept but the members that had been there for many years, looking into the history of the Bach Society and its proud tradition of performing the works of Bach. The first video was shot with a softbox and house lights. The second was shot in home with just the light coming through the window. Each video I believe was able to shine a light on the impact this organization has on its members and gives those who attend their concerts a little more insight into who they are and where they came from.
Camera: Sony EX1 / Sony FS100 Video Editing Software: Final Cut X / Adobe Premiere CS6 I continued my work of editing Timeline during my senior year of college. The communications department changed the name of the broadcast, wanting to give it a new look and feel. Over the summer the department painted our back wall green and we started using green screen this year. I created the intro and outro. I also decided on the virtual set and new lower third that we would use. The broadcast was shown in chapel every Thursday, highlighted on the student-newspaper website MBU Timeline and posted on YouTube. I also shot some of the videos in the broadcast, created some of the graphics, wrote scripts and produced sports each week. |
